A Natural Retreat for Individuals with Disabilities and their families.
United Pathways, Inc. was founded in the 1970s by Russell and Kathy Konkel.
Their vision was to allow individuals with disabilities and their families a chance to enjoy nature in the woods of North Central Wisconsin. The beautiful campground, known as Camp Eagle Rest, has river views, numerous trails and 49 acres to explore. Since 1977, United Pathways, Inc. has operated as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. EIN Number: 39-1275073
We offer a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin in the woods with a screened-in porch, fully-equipped kitchen, running water, electricity, air conditioning, and much more! Are you or a family member disabled? Would you like to have a vacation to remember and relax at Camp Eagle Rest? Please contact us and check for availability.
We know camping is a wonderful vacation, seeing the stars, observing God’s creation, and viewing the wildlife. However, there can be certain challenges of camping with special needs. We offer the chance to use a house setting with all the amenities and yet still enjoy the country woods “Up North” experience.
Reserve your spot for a day, a weekend, or even a week
Testimonials
Leo has been visiting Camp Eagle Rest since 1970, when he was a young boy. He has seen many improvements over the years, thanks to the volunteers and donors. Leo says he "likes the big sandbox and sitting by the river". He also says he "loves to see the animals"
Leo, GuestIt has been a privilege to help Camp Eagle Rest throughout the past 24 years. I have learned new skills and have been able to watch the guests and families thrive in the campground environment. My family helps with many of the maintenance projects and it has been fun to see the changes and improvements over the years.
